Detailed Itinerary for the Gangotri Yatra

Day 1: Dehradun to Uttarkashi

Our tailored yatra will begin from the beautiful city of Dehradun. Why? Because it is not just the capital city of Uttarakhand but also an easily accessible place to get to. At Dehradun, you will meet your ride and then head towards Uttarkashi.

This journey is around 190 km and will take around 7 to 8 hours. Along the way, you will gaze upon the scenic routes of Mussoorie & Chinyalisaur.

You will reach the holy city of Uttarkashi by the evening of day one. Here, you can visit the renowned Vishwanath Temple. At night, take a stroll through the local markets and do some exploring. Overnight stay here.

Day 2: Uttarkashi to Gangotri & back

The penultimate day of our Yatra will see us depart early from Uttarkashi. Our destination? Gangotri Dham.

Our journey will take us through the beautiful Harshil Valley, allowing you to witness some of the most mesmerising sights on this planet.

Upon reaching Gangotri, you can take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi river and then head towards the sacred temple. Offer prayers at the Gangotri temple.

We will return back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Uttarkashi to Dehradun

The final day of our Yatra will see us rising leisurely. After a hearty breakfast, we will commence the return journey to Dehradun.

You will arrive in Dehradun by the evening, and that will be the end of our tour. Thank you for choosing us.
