Our Kedarnath Yatra package starts from Dehradun, which is an easily accessible point by design. The itinerary of the 4-day tour is also designed to provide a seamless travel experience to our guests. During the Kedarnath Yatra you will naturally visit the iconic Kedarnath Temple, but on the way you will also travel through the sacred town of Guptkashi. And lest we forget the beautiful view that you witness during your journey. So are you ready for an adventure that is sure to change your life?

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Guptkashi

Your journey will commence from the calm foothills of Dehradun — the perfect starting point for your pilgrimage. Here, you will meet with your driver and the ride that will accompany you on this 4-day trip.

Your first proper stop? The town of Guptkashi — a place that is steeped in mythology & charm. The drive from Dehradun will be about 7 to 8 hours and on the way, you will witness breathtaking views consisting of valleys, rivers & peaks. You will also gaze upon Devprayag and Rudraprayag.

At Guptkashi, you will check into your hotel and relax for the evening. Or you can go and pay a visit to the famous Vishwanath Temple nearby.

Day 2: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

The second day of the tour is the day you have been waiting for. Your day will begin with a short drive to Sonprayag (or Gaurikund) – this is the base point for your trek to Kedarnath. Now, the trek is almost 16 km, but if you want, you can opt for a helicopter ride (at additional cost). On the trek, you will pass through forests, streams, bends, etc., so prepare accordingly.

As soon as you arrive in Kedarnath, you will find yourself immersed in the divine energy of this holy place. In the evening, you will take part in the Aarti ceremony and then an overnight stay in camps at the Dham.

Day 3: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

You will wake up with the sunrise and witness the early morning Darshan at the Kedarnath Temple. After that begins our trek back to Gaurikund. The descent will be a lot easier compared to the climb up.

Once you reach the base, your private vehicle will take you back to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, you will be checked into the hotel and can freshen up. Head out for a peaceful dinner with the final overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 4: Guptkashi to Dehradun

The final day of our tour begins with a relaxed breakfast in the beautiful (& mystical) town of Guptkashi. After we will start our drive back to Dehradun. Admire the beautiful view on the way back. Upon arrival in Dehradun, your yatra will conclude.
