Overview

Kedarnath Temple is one of the most sacred destinations in India situated in Kedarnath town. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its exquisite architecture. It has been built of evenly shaped yet extremely large grey stone slabs. Inside the temple, a conical rock formation is worshipped as Lord Shiva. The Kedarnath temple is a part of the Char Dham circuit and is one of the Lord Shiva's 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Behind the temple, stands the Kedar Dome Kedarnath Peak, and other Himalayan peaks. Kedarnath Yatra from Delhi can help relieve you from the sins you have performed in your past and present lives and help you attain moksha. However, the journey can be a bit challenging so you need to be prepared for the yatra beforehand.

Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar Drive: 220 km / 06 Hrs

In the morning you will arrive at Delhi Railway Station/Airport and then you'll meet our representative who will welcome you and assist you in transferring you to Haridwar. Once you have arrived at Haridwar you'll be transferred to your hotel. You'll relax for some time and then you'll head to Har Ki Pauri to attend the Ganga Aarti. After the aarti, you'll return to your hotel and have an overnight stay. Meal and dinner will also be included with the Kedarnath Yatra from Delhi package.

Day 02: Haridwar – Guptkashi Drive 204 Kms/7 -8 Hrs

You'll have a yummy breakfast in the morning and then you'll embark on a picturesque drive to Guptkashi. Guptkashi is located at a distance of just 47 km from Kedarnath which is known to be Lord Shiva's holy abode, located at an altitude of around 1319 meters from the sea level. The city houses two sacred temples such as the Vishwanath Temple and Ardhanarishvara Temple. During the journey, you will pass through small Himalayan towns such as Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Tilwara, and Devprayag. In the evening, you will reach Guptkashi. You'll be transferred to your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and have a tasty dinner. You will then have an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 03: Guptkashi – Kedarnath 5 Hrs Trek 18 Km/30 Kms

Early morning you will embark on a picturesque drive to Sonprayag. Once you have arrived at Sonprayag you'll take a local jeep that will drop you at Gaurikund (2 km). You will then start your trek to Kedarnath. After arriving at Kedarnath, you will check in to your pre-booked hotel. You will freshen up and then you will get ready to visit Kedarnath Temple to witness the evening Aarti. Kedarnath houses Baba Kedarnath Temple which has been covered under snow for around four hundred years. The idol here is worshiped as the 12th Jyotirlinga. This unique temple stands amidst the snowy mountains and the Saraswati and Mandakini rivers on two sides. You will have a tasty dinner and then you will have an overnight stay.

Day 04: Kedarnath – Guptkashi Drive 35/2 hrs/ Trek 18 km

Today you will wake up early in the morning and then you will get ready to visit Kedarnath temple to attend morning aarti. After attending the aarti ceremony you will head back to your hotel for breakfast. Later you will check out from your pre-reserved hotel and begin your trek down trek to Gaurikund. Once you have arrived at Gaurikund you will check in to the camp and have a tasty dinner. You'll then have an overnight stay.

Day 05: Guptkashi – Rishikesh Drive 07 Hrs/185 Kms

Post breakfast early in the morning you will embark on a picturesque drive to Rishikesh via Devprayag. You can take a halt at Devprayag to see the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers from which the river Ganga forms. Later you will continue your journey to Rishikesh. Once you have arrived at Rishikesh you will check in to your pre-reserved hotel for a tasty dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Rishikesh - Delhi Drive 232 Kms/ 6 Hrs

Have a delicious breakfast in the morning and then you will check out from the hotel and then you will drive back to Delhi. In the evening you will reach Delhi. On arrival, we will transfer you to the railway station/ airport.

Inclusions and Exclusions

Inclusions

  • Accommodation on a double sharing basis for 05 nights in a hotel, Swiss tent, and Guesthouse as per itinerary.
  • 05 dinner and 05 breakfast.
  • All transportation will be done using AC tempo traveler/ Innova. (In hilly areas, AC will not work.)
  • All applicable taxes. The hotel will be provided based on the availability

Exclusions

  • Personal nature items such as telephone calls, tips, drinks, laundry, camera fees, etc.
  • Late checkout or early check-in at any hotel unless specified above.
  • Liability for change in the itinerary because of reasons beyond our control such as a change in train or flight schedule.
  • Any other item that has not been mentioned above as 'INCLUDED'

General Conditions

  • All prices are subject to revision of tariff and tax structure
  • The above price will be valid only till 30 Nov 2023.
  • The prices are on a Net & Non-Commissionable, per-person basis. Once you have confirmed the booking, we will need 50% of the total balance amount and invoice. You will have to pay it 30 days before the date of arrival.
  • We can cancel the tour if you fail to pay the balance/deposit/final payment.
  • Cancellation Policy Cancellation Charges: In writing, a notice of cancellation must be made. For cancellations that are made two months before the start of the tour, a cancellation fee of 25% of the invoice will be charged. For cancellations made within 30-60 days of the tour's start, you will be charged a cancellation charge of 50% of the invoice. For cancellations made within a month of the start of the tour, a cancellation charge of 100% of the invoice will be charged.
  • In a few cases, the cancellation policy (including conditions that are applicable on the advance deposit required/made for holding the reservation) may differ and would be applicable as per the hotel / Service provider's cancellation policy. This will be charged over & in addition to the cancellation policy.
  • Unused Services & Refund: Refunds will not be made for unused services or other arrangements because of changes in the schedule made while traveling by passengers. However, in a few cases, the refund will be considered as per the tour company/carrier/ hotel or other suppliers' policy used for offering services.
  • Within two weeks of the trip's completion, refund requests must be made. If due to bad weather or reasons beyond the control on account of a hotel stay, meals and transportation, etc. extra bill will be raised.

Responsibility, Liability

We have the right to alter or cancel any package as required. We won't be responsible for any kind of additional expenses due to damage, loss, or delay caused by bad weather, accidents, illness, roadblocks, strikes/riots, etc.

Governing Law

Each term and condition shall be governed by and constructed following the Indian laws without disputes arising in relation to them or reference to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute that occurs shall be subject to the court's exclusive jurisdiction.
